    Registering At The College

We have divided our registration procedure into three easy steps. Click on the three sections below, in numerical order, to:

    • (Step 1) Find out how to register at the College
    • (Step 2) Fill out and submit our registration form, using either the online or printable version
    • (Step 3) Pay the registration fee of £47 to reserve your place at the College

Step 1 - How to register at the College

    Registration Procedure

After receiving a copy of the College prospectus, parents usually prefer to visit the College together with the prospective student before registering. Although not essential, such meetings are useful since they give students and parents the opportunity to look around the College before the course begins and enable the staff to gather a full picture of the students' needs.

Those wishing to enrol should fill out a student registration form and return it to the College, along with the registration fee and two passport-sized photographs of the registrant. The form can be completed in one of three ways:

    • By filling out the student registration form directly online; the form is located further down this page.
    • By downloading the registration form from our website, printing it off and filling it in by hand. The form can either be dropped off at the College, or returned to us by post. Our address is 22-23 Prince Albert Street, Brighton, East Sussex, England, BN1 1HF. The downloadable form is in pdf format and can be accessed by clicking here: student registration form
    • By requesting a paper copy of the student registration form by telephone (01273 205965) or email (enquiry@bartscollege.co.uk). Once filled out, the form can either be dropped off at the College, or returned to us by post.

Once we have received your completed student registration form, the supervisor will reply to confirm term dates and the date and time of the student's introduction.

    Registration Fee

All completed registration forms should be followed with the payment of a student registration fee. The registration fee is £47 and it can be paid using either of the following two methods:

    • Pay online using the payment system in the section below entitled Step 3 - Pay the registration fee.
    • Pay by bank transfer direct to the College (please contact the College reception for details)
    • Pay by cheque or bankers draft (please contact the College reception for details)

    Passport Photographs

We require two passport-sized photographs of all students registering at Barts College. If you are returning a paper copy of the form, please include the photographs with the completed form, if possible. If you prefer to fill out the online version, please bring your photographs the next time you visit the College. Thank you.

Step 2 - Fill out our registration form

To register at Barts College it is necessary to complete and submit our registration form. There are three ways to do this:

      Testimonials

I came to Barts because I failed my A-levels at another college and was consequently unable to get to uni on the course I wanted (Biomedicine). After only a year at Barts I was able to turn my A-levels around (pretty astonishing considering it took two years to fail the first time I did them!). As a result of going to Barts, I was able get to Uni. In fact, I actually had a choice of where I wanted to go.

      Tobias Allen

Being a student at Barts was brilliant. I felt like I was listened to by my teachers and supervisor, and made to feel comfortable and supported throughout my university applications and my studies.

My teachers knew their subjects inside out and I felt reassured that I could get through the content before my exams.

      Phoebe Jones

Barts were amazing. My son's tutor was perfect in every way, we couldn’t have asked for a more amazing chap to not only turn 2 C’s into an A star and an A grade, but also the level of care and support was beyond anything we could have hoped for. Barts is like a family that care for you from start to finish. When the experience is all all over, you miss them. I cannot recommend them more highly. A star Barts!

      Jo Miller

My daughter attended Barts for tuition in one subject in year 13 whilst she was at sixth form college, as ill health was affecting her grades. Everyone at Barts was incredibly kind and supportive, and they were happy to work in a way that suited my daughter. Their sincere interest in their pupils was apparent from the very first meeting. I think it is a unique and exceptional place.

      Alison Cowley

The one to one tuition allows you to get the most out of each lesson. While the socials and common room ensure that you are far from isolated. Your individual progress is monitored as the year goes on, helping to ensure and enable you to reach your full potential. Bartholomews proved to be everything I needed and more and I would sincerely urge others to consider going here.

      Paige Allen

Barts have helped our family in so many ways. Mike was hugely supportive - he listened and supported in very different ways.

I can't thank them enough. From extra GCSE learning support to an extra A level - the teaching was excellent and their approach always well suited.
